CADBA would like to remind all members including coaches, spectators and officials that you must adhere to the Basketball Victoria Code of Conducts when in our venues.

Its unfortunate that CADBA have already had to deal with multiple incidents this year regarding players and spectators not conducting themselves within the spirit of our game. 

Please remember:

  • This is a game

  • The players are children

  • The referees are human

  • The coaches are volunteers

The correct time and place to approach referees is not during the game or immediately after. Please go via your coach or team manager and if required report an incident to our Competitions Manager and Referee Advisor.

Remember to cheer everyone, praise effort and wait before addressing concerns.
